What it's about

How quickly can an inner-city development site turn into a solid first district plan, complete with key figures, variants and a convincing visualization?

We'll walk through the digital workflow using a real project in the middle of Magdeburg, between the historic centre, the existing built fabric and the Elbe.

With Urbanistic, an urban design variant takes shape directly in the digital city model, in 3D and based on official data. Buildings, parcels, zoning plan and planning basics come together, massing is developed, areas, heights and uses are adjusted, and the key figures are checked.

Then, with Pelicad, we show how that early-stage plan turns into a polished, easy-to-read visualization in almost no time.

The workflow, start to finish:
Understand the basics → Develop the urban design → Check the key figures → Compare variants → Visualize convincingly

The questions we'll answer

Early in a project, you often don't need months of expensive planning yet. You need a solid basis for answering the right questions.

  • What's possible on this site?
  • What density actually works?
  • Where does it get tight?
  • Which use fits the location?
  • How does the plan fit into what's already there?
  • And how do you present the idea so it's instantly clear, even to people outside the planning team?

TODO. Whether a separate form gets added in front of this so leads flow straight into the CRM depends on the registration approach (see open items). Right now the button leads straight to Teams registration.
